One of the advantages to using a DSLR is the variety of available lenses. My favorite and most used lens is the Canon 24-105mm f/4. When spaces get tight or the situation calls for a panoramic shot I use a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens. My fastest lens is a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens that is great for creating an incredible image or in a low-light scenario. When things are far away I reach for my Sigma 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 telephoto lens. And, when I need to get really close up on something small I use Kenko extension tubes that turn any of my other lenses into a macro lens.
